Have you had a really great experience at one of our local businesses? Have you had a staff member or the business owner go above and beyond for you? Have you seen a business demonstrate excellent customer service and an outstanding service to the community? Then let them know by nominating them for Business of the Year!
Nominations are now being accepted for the Small, Medium and Large Business of the Year; Volunteer of the Year; and Nonprofit of the Year for the Delta area. The five winners will be announced at the Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet of the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce on March 1.
“This is the community’s opportunity to let our businesses know who is really doing an outstanding job for their customers and for the community,” said Kami Collins, executive director of the chamber. “None of us would be in business without you, and we want to hear from you – who is doing a great job and who deserves some extra recognition?”
New this year, the Chamber has elected to also recognize an outstanding Nonprofit of the Year, recognizing that these entities make a lasting impact on the quality of life in Delta.
Nomination forms can be found here: 2014 Nomination form. Chamber staff is also happy to fax or email you a form if you call 970-874-8616. Forms can be picked up or dropped off in person at 301 Main St.
Nominations must be made no later than Friday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m.
Last year the Chamber recognized 2nd Edition as the Small Business of the Year; CB’s Tavern as Medium Business of the Year; Davetos Italian Restaurant as Large Business of the Year; and the volunteers at the Abraham Connection as Volunteers of the Year.
